Boat trip to the ice cap  - Tasermiut
Take a boat trip to the end of the 63-km (39-mile) long Tasermiut Fjord surrounded by high, jagged mountain peaks and majestic wilderness. See the ice cap and visit Viking ruins in Kloster Valley (Klosterdalen). On the return leg of the journey, we stop in the village of Tasiusaq.

   Boat trip to Herjolfsnæs, Sandhavn
Herjolfsnæs was where Eric the Red first set foot on land when he came to Greenland. We will visit the church ruins and graves where rare Norse articles of clothing were found in the 1920s. We will also visit Narsarmijit (Frederiksdal) to see graves and the old church built by the Herrnhuters (Moravian Brethren).

   Boat trip Uunartoq
Relax and unwind in 36-38°C (97-100°F) hot springs at Uunartoq. Since the days of the Norse, the hot springs have been known for their healing effects. Remember to bring your swimsuit.

   Tour of the town
After a brief walking tour of Nanortalik, we will visit the old part of town around the colonial harbor where the museum is located.
The museum is in a well-preserved historic area. Exhibits include reproductions of rare Norse articles of clothing that were found in Ikigiat / Herjolfsnæs in the 1920s. In the church, built in 1914, you can see the organ that dates back to the time of the Herrnhuters. Outside visitors can admire a likeness of Knud Rasmussen, the famous arctic explorer, carved by nature into a rock face. We will do everything possible to meet your special requests.
